Partner Empower

Extreme’s suite of tools designed for Channel Self-Service (CSS) configurations, discounting, renewals, and quoting. This easy-to-use toolset puts power and speed in the partners hands, resulting in bottom line savings.

PartnerEmpower is proof of Extreme’s commitment to improving a partner’s experience by removing complexity from the selling process.

Deal Registration

Extreme’s Deal Registration (DR) Program is specifically designed to protect and reward partners for their efforts in selling Extreme products and solutions to new customers or unveil new opportunities with existing customers.

  • DR is available to all partner tiers (Authorized, Gold, Diamond) with a minimum deal value of $40K list price in USCAN and one DR per opportunity
  • Expiration Date = 6 months, 10pt differential
  • The 10% differential protection will remain unchanged for new and existing DR’s
Not for Resale

The Not for Resale Program enables partners to purchase an amount of demonstration products each Extreme Networks fiscal year.

These products are to be used in demonstration settings to showcase Extreme Networks solutions to your current and prospective Extreme Networks customers. All NFR requests can be submitted using the online NFR Request tool on the Extreme Partner Portal.

Partners will now be able to create a quote on an approved deal registration utilizing Channel Self Service.

Channel Self-Service

Extreme’s initiative to offer opportunity-processing tools, from deal registration to quoting, in a self-service format. Empower is proof of Extreme’s commitment to improving a partner’s experience by removing complexity from the selling process.

Utilizing Channel Self Service enables you to create quotes from using new configurations; however, quotes can also be created directly from existing Deal Registrations and opportunities.

Extreme QuickQuote

The Extreme QuickQuote (EQQ) tool enables resellers to receive an instant program level discounts for planning purposes. It provides a self-service method to expedite the time from quote to pricing for our partners.

By copying your Ingram Micro team on this information, you will receive a quote without losing any time having to forward it on.

IRIS and BMI tools

Moreover, partners can use any IRIS or BMI configuration files or the provided excel template posted on the tool to load Extreme part numbers into the tool, or alternatively select products from a product shopping cart. This is available as a standalone tool or in combination with a Deal Registration.

IRIS is a standalone application that greatly improves design, proposal of complex products and solution while delivering significant gains in productivity and accuracy. It increases the productivity of your design engineers and sales teams as well as removing the complexity of selling complex products and systems while providing speed, clarity and detail to our Extreme Networks solutions.

Training Certification Program

Partner Training courses and certifications have been renamed and include updates on entire portfolio. You can access the Learning portal Extreme Dojo through your Partner Portal Account.

ExtremeDojo

Extreme Dojo is the official name of Extreme’s Training Program. You earn martial arts themed achievements by progressing through the business or technical learning quest.​

Extreme Networks Sales Specialist (ESS)

This curriculum provides partners with the company, product and competitive knowledge they need to position, qualify, and sell Extreme Networks solutions. ESS training is available online on Dojo app through the Partner Portal.

Extreme Networks Design Specialist (EDS)

This curriculum is intended to help partners to learn to effectively demonstrate key features and business benefits of Extreme Networks solutions. It will enable you also to design Extreme Networks solutions and to build bills of materials. EDS courses and exams are available online via self-paced videos through the Partner Portal.

Extreme Networks Certified Specialist (ECS)

This curriculum provides partners with methods to properly configure, deploy, manage and troubleshoot Extreme Networks environments. ECS courses can be booked through the Partner Portal.
