NetPRO® Cash Drawers for Ethernet Networks

APG’s cash drawers are now available with Ethernet connectivity transforming the traditional Host/Peripheral model to a POS architecture design so placing the cash drawer into the client/server model of Ethernet-enabled equipment. Connecting over Wired Ethernet (including PoE) or Wireless LAN, NetPRO® enabled cash drawers communicate with clients across the network acting on their requests and capturing activities; expected and unexpected. Predefined events and triggers are used to log all cash drawer activity as well as initiating broadcast alerts to other devices such as SMS or email servers or invoking other network devices such as CCTV camera activation. Bar-code claiming, hand shaking and options of two-Level TLS-PSK Encryption ensure NetPRO® enabled cash drawers cover all aspects of client server security.
