This receipt printer works as a hub to communicate with tablets and control basic POS peripherals like cash drawers and barcode scanners. This innovative platform boasts Epson’s ePOS1technology that allows printing from mobile devices and access to web-based services without requiring drivers. It communicates with mobile devices using the most popular web browsers supporting HTML5, such as Safari®, Chrome™, Internet Explorer® and Android browser. Users can switch between applications without changing printer settings, and can configure the printer remotely or from mobile devices.
Expandable
The new Communications Box feature means that additional mobile devices can be easily set up for the input and output of data. These additional tablets can be used for interaction with customers, or as manager tools, or for content management.
